Ok to clear some things up, this refers to the things people say just to be nasty and cruel, kind of like the trolls you see on forums and that slag you off cause you dont like the same music as them or something
In relation to my last comic about Bitching, I still would prefer it if someone told me my faults to my face, but if they were just gonna be nasty for the sake of being nasty, I would rather they put a sock in it permanently

I kind of have to agree with you. I'm all for free speech and all that (one of America's amendments and rights we take very seriously 
) but there's a point when people need to keep their mouth shut (or keyboard blank.) There's nothing wrong with someone expressing their point-of-view or opinion but there's no reason to be nasty. Plus, I have the right to disagree with someone just as much as they have a right to express their opinion. I just wish people could avoid insulting each other for no real reason and have civilized debates and discussions. What's so wrong about agreeing to disagree anyway? Can't express our different opinions without tearing each other apart? Politicians are some of the worse examples of this here in the U.S., they'd rather insult their opponent than talk about the issues or have a civilized debate. For example, one thing that really bugged me about our 2008 presidential election was how they basically insulted Sarah Palin's family; if you have a problem with Palin's stance in something take it up with her but don't bring her family into it! That's just low!
